An unusual visitor to Helicentre

The bright yellow gyrocopter G-FELD flew in to Liverpool John Lennon Airport piloted by gyrocopter pilot and student helicopter pilot Stephen Pearce.

On a cold but clear winters afternoon, Stephen donned his thermal gear to mix his 500kg gyrocopter with the big boys of Ryanair and easyJet.

Stephen is a keen aviator and is currently training with Helicentre to gain his private helicopter pilot's licence (PPL(H)). Stephen is really enjoying his helicopter training and hopes to complete his PPL (H) very soon!
